Construction works on Factory on manufacture of disinfectants with a capacity of 200 000 liters of various solutions in Abadan etrap of Ashgabat city were carried out according to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan №12548 dated September, 14th, 2012 “On construction of the pharmaceutical factories at the Ministry of Health and the medical industry of Turkmenistan”.

About the factory

Construction works on Factory on manufacture of disinfectants with a capacity of 200 000 liters of various solutions in Abadan etrap of Ashgabat city were carried out according to the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan №12548 dated September, 14th, 2012 “On construction of the pharmaceutical factories at the Ministry of Health and the medical industry of Turkmenistan”. The factory is equipped by the industrial and auxiliary process equipment, analytical devices for the qualitative and quantitative analysis of leading producers of Germany, Japan, Italy, the USA, and Turkey. Industrial processes at the factory correspond to the European standards and GMP requirements.

The factory’s capacity is production and packing in various volumes of 200 000 liters of 26 types of disinfectant solutions.

The factory consists of 2 main units: Industrial unit, Unit on quality control and Microbiology

Industrial unit

Operation of the unit is on a high level according to the European requirements. The unit consists of 4 units which operation is interfacing through computer control system.

Water preparation unit

In this section a unit of the return osmosis “Housing” is operating which is provided by Italian company Aquiline. The unit is capable to produce 500 liters of the fresh water per 1 hour. Water used for production corresponds to the European standards. The fresh water in aseptic environment automatically is transported to a special tank of a capacity 3 000 liters.

Unit of preparation of Disinfectant solutions

Disinfectant solutions are prepared in aseptic environment in an automatic mode in 3 specialized reactors of a capacity 1 000 liters each. The prepared disinfectant solution is controlled in Quality control Unit on quality and quantity. In case of positive result of analyses the prepared production is pumped over by pumps in an automatic mode in 3 special tanks of a capacity 1 000 litres each and goes for pouring.

Unit of pouring of solutions

In this unit there are 3 operation lines of pouring:

1st line. The equipment of this line is manufactured by Italian technology by company Elektromag (1), capable to pour disinfectant solutions in vials in volume of 500 ml and 1000 ml, and also in canisters in volume of 4000 ml. The line consists of 6 sections: vials supply mechanism, the mechanism of cleaning of vials by air, the mechanism of pouring of disinfectant solutions, the mechanism of fastening covers, the mechanism of putting labels and marking mechanism.

Capacity of a line per hour:

2nd line. Here the equipment is installed of Italian technology produced by company Elektromag (2), capable to pour disinfectant solutions in vials in volume of 100 ml and 250 ml. The line consists of 6 sections: vials supply mechanism, the mechanism of cleaning of vials by air, the mechanism of pouring of disinfectant solutions, the mechanism of fastening covers, the mechanism of putting labels and marking mechanism.

Capacity of a line per hour:

3rd line. On this line there is an equipment of Italian technology produced company Kansan installed which is producing wet napkins of the sizes 26-36 cm. The line consists from 3 sections: mechanism of preparations of napkins, the mechanism of the additive of solutions and packing mechanism. Capacity of a line is 6 000 packs in 1 hour. 4th line. On this line there is an equipment of Italian technology produced company Usupak installed which is producing wet napkins. Capacity of a line is 4 000 packs in 1 hour.

Parking unit in this unit experts carry out the control of volume of solutions and quality of napkins, the produced goods are packed into cardboard boxes and go to a quarantine warehouse. In a quarantine warehouse the produced goods are stored before reception of satisfactory results of qualitative, quantitative and microbiological analyses, and then are sent to finished goods warehouse. Warehouses are provided by specialized regiments and the finished goods are kept separately in special order. The finished goods are released in medical institutions, drugstores, etc. Raw and the packing materials used for manufacture of disinfectant solutions have been supplied by world leading companies of Germany and Turkey.

Unit of quality control and microbiology

In this unit the analytical devices of German company WTW are installed, such as pH-metre and a metering instrument for current conductivity metering of water, chromatograph and spectrophotometer produced by Japanese company Shimadzu, refractometerand densitometer of American company Digital, viscometer of Italian company Fungilab. Here the analysis of a chemical compound of the water used for manufacture of disinfecting solutions, the qualitative and quantitative analysis of prepared disinfecting solutions according to requirements of the European pharmacopoeia is carried out.
